Hi! I’m Amanda, an author of Christian fantasy.

I promise that once you dive into my stories, you will find yourself immersed in lands filled with fantastical creatures, daring magic, perilous battles, sweeping romance and much more. Reality, a pesky thing really, will become a far-off notion as I work to keep you up far past your bedtime reading “just one more page.”

As a child, my mother read to my brothers and I every night before bed, and as I grew older, she never said no to taking me to the library to check out yet another stack of books. Lucky for me, the reading habits I developed as a child carried me into a world of obsessive book hoarding and an entrenched tendency to have my nose “stuck in a book” at appropriate and inappropriate times alike.

I write Christian fiction because I love Jesus, and I believe that stories are a powerful and entertaining way to convey truth and to impart values into hearts of any age. Best of all, stories are fun, and they have a way of sticking in your mind, unlike math or your latest e-mail password.

When I am not reading or writing, you can find me galloping through the Canadian mountainsides on my big black horse (Sir Gunner), wrangling my two rambunctious minions, and experimenting with different hobbies.
